19 March 2026: Here we are, almost 3 months into 2026, and we are entering unknown times, times that, for most of us, we have never experienced before. Despite the uncertainty, we still need to carry on our daily lives and keep doing what brings us joy and happiness; the things that bring smiles to our faces. Most of all, it is important to keep our minds active and not dwell on the negative aspects that are dominating the news.

Perhaps this is a good time to think of our parents and grandparents and what they endured during their lifetimes. Did they write diaries or record their thoughts and experiences in another way? Do they need transposing into a digital format? Quite often that seems like a daunting task, and it is easy to think of it as something to do at another time.
